  1. Hey guys. Love the podcast. I really enjoyed the episode and was sad to see Beth go. Very sad, but where was Morgan? I was hoping to see him by now. And holy crap, did you see that pigs do fly…with a little help from rick?

  2. Hey Chris and Jason, Alex from Chocowinity, North Carolina here. Holy Crap Did You Hear That moment

    – After Rick hit’s officer Bob with the car, Bob says something like “I’m hurt take me back”. Rick’s response is, “We can’t go back Bob.” This almost the exact response given to Bob by Gareth earlier this season. With this comment and Rick’s continuous use of violence, are we seeing Rick become a little unhinged?

Thanks, keep up the great work guys.

  3. God these guys are so dumb. How did they become the “spokespeople” for The Walking Dead tv show, they don’t even know what happens in the comics which i think is a must to really understand the show and its direction. Also they just focus on the stupidest most trivial shit ever, “omg Michonne should have gave the baby to carl before axing the door” god give me a break you really think you would have time to hand off a baby to someone during a situation like that…no sorry the baby was secure on her back and a little bit of swinging and motion isn’t going to kill the thing. Just 1 example of why i get soo annoyed listening to these guys. I will continue however because there the only people actually supported by thewalkingdead.com who did this sort of thing. There should be more options though for people who are actually smart and think about the show in a semi serious way. These guys are just clowns who watch the show and happen to enjoy most of it.

  4. Wow…now there bitching about how Beth got shot…Dawn clearly didnt want to let Both Noah AND Beth go with Rick, she was also stabbed by Beth. What would you do? let yourself get stabbed and not do anything say hey Beth thanks for stabbing me…be on your way. And of course they would go into the hospital to do the trade otherwise walkers could walk up on them and fuck up the exchange…Stupid people talking about a show they have no business even talking about. God they piss me off. Nothing makes these dudes happy why does TWD.com post there podcasts when they just badmouth the show. The gun was holstered, yes…a gun can be unholstered very fast, especially by a trained police women.

    1. Hi Chestplates420,

Sorry to hear you aren’t enjoying the podcast, but we try to be as honest as we can with our feelings about the show. That means we’ll praise it when it’s good and criticize when we don’t think it works. The great thing is that either way it usually stimulates some good conversations, which is one of the things we’re trying to do.

Sure we sometimes get hung up on the small details, but the way I see it a little in-depth analysis never hurt anybody. Plus we find it fun to focus on the little details.

But more importantly – thewalkingdead.com is posting our podcasts? I didn’t know that, but it’s great! Would you be willing to send me a link to one of their posts?

      thanks,
      Chris

  5. I do agree with the death feeling forced although. And that the season somewhat teetered out after the first 3 episodes. and that the Season 3 finale sucked. However they made up for it with season 4 being about the Governors rerise to power and his 2nd attempt on the prison.

  6. Chestplates420 – The walking dead is the most watched show on TV. It is constantly compared to critically acclaimed shows such as Game of Thrones, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Rome, Sopranos, etc. In my opinion it is not even close to the same level as these; discontinuity in show runners makes it impossible to keep up with the likes of the best shows. It’s merely and average show that repeats itself and fans are figuring that out.

Now all that being said, I think it’s perfectly fair to nit-pick the show. If fans are going to compare it to these other great TV shows then it shouldn’t be beyond criticism.

Now if we wanna compare the Walking Dead to Rugrats, well then I think it’s beyond criticism. But once you put it in the same sentence as GoT, Wire, BB, etc…well then it’s time to point out the problems.

Love the podcast guys. If I ever stop watching the show, I will continue to listen!
