I’m going to explain a theory I have. I honestly believe that Carol will be the fist casualty of the show for 2 reasons. 1, her story-lie pretty much ended on th farm. Sophia was Carol’s storyline both befor and after the barn scene in season 2. Story-wise, there’s not much more for her to do. And 2, she is starting to develop a relationship with Daryl. If Daryl got into a relationship, any relationship,it would completely change the dynamic of his character. If they keep Carol live, she and Daryl would eventually get together. And I just can’t see the writers playing that out to its conclusion. We do have Daryl approaching a grave marker in a future episode. And I just have a feeling that was Carol. I can’t imagine him visiting the grave of any other character. I love Carol, so I’m sad, but I think that’s what will happen, rather soon.
“Listener feedback!” Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I’m an addict. I’ve been a huge fan of the TV show from Day 1, and since then I’ve started reading the comics, and I’m almost all the way caught up on those. I came across your podcast in early June, starting with episoide 80. I enjoyed it so much that I went back and listened to every episode in the span of 4 months, enjoying such topics as “When will they get to Wiltshire Estates”, and “Who’ll play Tyreese?”. After a summer-long cram session of your show, I was caught up just in time for the season premiere. Imagine my surprise when my name was pulled out of the giant zombie skull as the winner of the how-to-kill-a-zombie contest. Talk about the icing on the cake!
Random guess – there are 5 inmates alive in the prison instead of 4. Could Big Tiny be a stand-in for Tyreese?
Random observation – twice in Season 2, Andrea has been tackled in the woods by a walker, and been saved in a kick-ass manner by strong female characters who she’d never met before. Maggie on horseback in episode 2, Michonne with katana in episode 13. Coincidence?
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your show, and am looking forward to more!
