The Talking Dead #64: “Rise of the Governor Review”

Hey Everybody,

This is our first ever book review on The Talking Dead. Jason and I are kind of all over the place this week in our discussion of “The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor”. Have a listen, and let us know what you think. I’m sure there are lots of things to discuss that we didn’t touch on. As always, thanks for tuning in!

Just a brief comment on something that has come into play on each of these podcasts. Every time I listen, I hear occasional little thuds that could either be a foot hitting a desk or a hand bumping the desk… so, with my headphones on, I keep glancing around the room because it literally sounds like someone is either at my bedroom door or in the room with me… creepy for this kind of podcast. But the sound is so subtle, that’s what makes it so real.

It’s probably Jason knocking his mic stand. He tends to swing his hands around and bump it at least a few times per show.

I tried listening to the audio version of the book, but couldn’t get into. Thanks for the review!

Yes, in the US we pronouce it Foy-yer. In the same way some say roof and some say ruff.

Interesting link for you about the Tank Zomibie from season one. I though this guy looked familiar. I recognize him more from the Star Wars game than “Being Human.”
